On Wednesday afternoon the children will be meeting and working with Nick Butterworth, the well known author of books like Percy The Park Keeper and Jasper's Beanstalk. Nick will also be hosting a parent talk during the Open Evening on Wednesday 11th July at 3:45pm, which you are welcome to attend.
Our Summer picnic will be on Monday 16th July in the afternoon. This is a lovely way to celebrate the end of the children's first year in school and all the hard work they have put in. Please come along and join us for this celebration. Bring a blanket, a few nibbles and some games to play on the field. The children will be bringing home more details at the start of next week. Any questions please feel free to ask.
This week we are supposed to have some lovely warm weather. Please ensure that your child brings a sun hat with them to school on hot days to wear in our garden and at lunchtime.
Please also note that as the weather gets warmer we will be using the field for P.E. lessons, so please make sure that your child has a pair of trainers or plimsolls in their P.E. kits to change into. Girls who wear tights will also need a pair of socks to wear with their plimsolls. Long hair should be tied up and ear rings removed on P.E. days.
RE have P.E. on Wednesdays and RS on Thursdays.
