Breakfast Club

Our breakfast club is designed to give children a brilliant start to their day and to give parents peace of mind that they are happy and ready to start learning. We offer a good breakfast of cereals and toast with exciting additions including fresh fruit and samples of world food. There is also the opportunity for round the breakfast table discussions, free play and energizing exercises for personal and team growth.

We have a daily theme as follows:-
Motivation Monday – an opportunity to check in and find out how people are feeling, sharing our ‘Thoughts for the Week’
Taste it Tuesday – The chance to try something new, normally seasonal
Wellness Wednesday – A focus on an aspect of nutrition, to increase the children’s knowledge and help them to make balanced choices in what they eat
Theme Thursday – Based on a National Day or other celebrations such as Roald Dahl’s Birthday to Constitution Day in Nepal, there are plenty of exciting new breakfast foods to try and cultural themes to explore.
Freedom Friday – why not turn a pikelet into an owl with bits of banana and blueberries?

Children are encouraged to add their own ideas to our ‘Ideas Board’ and to look after the club cactus called ‘Brekki’. Breakfast club runs from 7.50am – 8.50am, with breakfast being served until 8.20am. On arrival, Parents / Carers must sign the attendance register. If children have already eaten, or do not want to eat, they can play with the others in the lounge area. Those that do not wish to eat are encouraged to come to the table to join in the fun in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. After breakfast, it’s time to move into the school hall for activities guided by our Sports Coach until it’s time to collect their belongings ready for class.

Places must be pre booked and this can be completed via our Parentmail Service. Each session is charged at £2.50 per child, non-refundable and payable at the time of booking.
